Lena

Just over a week ago, Bella had a beautiful female cria we named Lena.

Lena appears to be light fawn in color.  Her fiber definitely has some crimp.  We can't wait to see how her fiber grows out.
Ooo ... crimpy!
Lena is Bella's first living cria, and the first female cria for our herd.  Bella is a great mom, and we are so excited to have Lena join our herd!

New Items on Etsy

Hi everyone!

I haven't been very good at posting this summer.  Sorry about that.  I have great intentions and some really great topics I want to blog about . . . I just don't have enough time!  Having an almost 5 month old (!) will pretty much suck up all your free time!

We have some new items available in our Etsy shop.  These items are hand knit by my mom, Robin.

We have baby booties knitted out of 100% alpaca yarn.

Available at www.jenandoles.etsy.com

Clucky modeling his booties!

We have little bears knitted out of 100% alpaca yarn and stuffed with fiber from our herd.

Also available at www.jenandoles.etsy.com

And don't forget our baby hooded hat sets!  Here is Clucky modeling his rainbow hat!

Isn't he adorable!

I have more I want to share with everyone from the summer.

I participated in the Tour de Fleece on Ravelry.
I had some fun dyeing yarn with ice cubes made out of Kool-Aid.
Bella had a beautiful female cria we named Lena.
Brian is turning veggies from our garden into homemade baby food.

There will hopefully be more blog posts very soon about our fun summer.
